TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After graduating Shippensburg University in 2011, I spent two years teaching Kindergarten and ESL abroad in South Korea. Currently I am an 8th grade social studies teacher at Rockingham Middle School in North Carolina.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in hands on learning and allowing students to connect what they're learning in United States history directly to the world around us. My purpose is to create good, critical thinking citizens for our culturally diverse and democratic society.

I graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a BSEd in History. From there, I taught abroad in South Korea from 2012-2014, where I taught Kindergarten and Elementary ESL. My passion social studies and I really found my niche with middle grades education.
