Hi all! My name is Sarah Walls and I am a 5th grade teacher. This is my ninth year of teaching. I taught 4th grade for two years in the Magnolia School District in Anaheim, then moved to a private school in Stanton where I taught 5th, 7th, and 8th grade. For the last 2 years I taught 4th grade in Placentia and am now teaching 5th again.
Educational Philosophy: As a teacher, I am dedicated to creating a positive learning environment where all students are encouraged to be successful and given the support they need to become lifelong learners. I believe it is my responsibility to make content accessible to all types of learners and provide opportunities for children to apply their knowledge to real world situations. I am committed to preparing students to become successful in this 21st Century, technology-driven world. As a teacher, I inspire thoughts, challenge ideas, advocate for my students, and lead by example at all times.
