I have been teaching for over 13 years at a Middle School within a diverse community in Denver with a high-needs population. There, I have taught several intervention classes, as well as Spanish as a Foreign Language and Spanish Language Arts for Native Spanish Speakers.
I believe that every child that walks into a classroom has the ability and the right to learn. Holding my students to high expectations in the hopes they too will see and experience their own potential is what I strive to do every day. I enter each day hoping to provide lessons that are rigorous and culturally relevant.
