TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello! I have taught both 11th grade and 9th grade English (both general level and honors) in the small town of Clewiston, Florida.I have also taught 3 years of Theater classes at various levels. Recently, I have moved to the west coast of Florida with my fiance and will be teaching 9th grade English in Fort Myers!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to look at my classroom as an ever changing space. Not in the literal set up, but in what students should expect each day. Structure and expectations are important, however, so is keeping students engaged. A goal of mine is to have students walk into class every day and and say with excitement, "I wonder what we are going to do in Miss Limper's class today?!" It shows that they are engaged and excited! I am a big fan of technology in the classroom, as well as journal writing and stations or centers. I attempt to make close reading and test prep "fun" and look to create student discussion based lessons!
