TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 14th year teaching Social Studies. I have taught Middle School, High School and College Social Studies courses. I love it all!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to mix it all: analysis activities, projects, lectures, skits, discussions and lots and lots of humor. (Yes, I know I used the "l-word" there--it's hard to get around them sometimes when you teach history! :)) I strive to have the kind of classroom where everyone feels welcome.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was recognized by my local Chamber of Commerce as the Teacher of the Year.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm just getting started on TPT. I will be adding more History, Economics and Government resources soon. I can't wait to share with you what has worked for me in my classroom! p.s. My logo was created by A Little Peace of Africa, a TpT seller. She's amazing! http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/A-Little-Peace-Of-Africa
