TEACHING EXPERIENCE

The motto I remind myself of DAILY... "The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires." I am currently in my 7th year of teaching. In my 7 years of teaching, I believe I have gained a clear understanding of student needs in the classroom. I have experience with many different types of learners as well, allowing me to learn the best way to differentiate for each one of my students. My goal is to create engaging, active, and of course rigorous lessons for all of my students!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I do my best to create an engaged, active classroom every day! In my opinion, the best learning takes place in a classroom that is ACTIVE. Many days I will have my students working with a partner or a small group to analyze text, dissect political cartoons, or working in groups to work through information together! I hope you can find use in my activities! Enjoy!
