TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a 6th Grade Social Studies teacher at a NYC public school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My school is a full Workshop Model school, which means we use the Reading and Writing Workshop Model in all classes, including Social Studies. We are a project based school, so all assessments are based on classwork, projects, and essay writing work. The curriculum is very reading, research, and writing focused.
