I am an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist, a certified Yoga teacher, a longtime mindfulness meditation practitioner, and a lover of all things creative. I have been working with children and young adults in various educational roles and settings since 2001, including as a Yoga instructor and currently as a school-based speech pathologist. I have studied college-level architecture and design for four years, and have been drawing and illustrating since childhood.
I enjoy multidisciplinary teaching, narrative-based teaching, and teaching that acknowledges that our human connection we share is as important as the content taught.
It's a great honor to share my work with you :-). I hope it benefits you in some way.
I have a masters degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Washington, four years of college education in the area of architecture and other forms of design, and a Hatha yoga teaching certificate from Shoshoni Yoga Retreat.
