I have had experience in many different grade levels through my undergraduate experience. After graduating with my undergrad, I became a learning tutor for grades K-4 in Newington, CT. A year later I landing a one year teaching position in Bristol, CT in a first grade classroom. 2016-2019 I taught first grade at a private school in Kensington, CT. In 2019 I ventured back into Bristol, CT where I currently reside as a Kindergarten Teacher!
I am a very positive, bubbly and bright teacher. I believe in student centered education. I think it is important to change your teaching style to meet the needs of the students in your classroom. My classroom is chalkboard and bright themed. In my classroom, the year is filled with learning, excitement and cherished memories. My classroom fosters a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to take learning risks. The child will be able to feel comfortable and invited knowing that they can be themselves and make educational mistakes freely. My goal is to inspire, encourage, and engage each and every student in the learning process.
