MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom revolves around multisensory instruction and is based upon the Orton-Gillingham methodology. I work with students who display dyslexic tendencies, and we focus daily on phonemic awareness, spelling rules, and reading strategies.

Hi! I am Leslie, a teacher with a passion for Jesus, my family, and my career. While I have previously taught 3rd and 1st grades, I now teach students of all ages, K-5th grade, who display dyslexic tendencies that may inhibit their reading progress.
