TEACHING EXPERIENCE

In the past 20 years I have been a teacher and a learner of a variety of subjects. The bulk of my teaching experience is in Science. I have taught grades 6-12 with middle school concentration in Integrated Science to include: Physical, Life, and Earth Sciences. My High School experiences include Chemistry, Biology, and Anatomy/Physiology. I am currently serving my school community as an Instructional Coach.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is simple; I want the learner to do the reading, talking, thinking and thus the learning. I strive to design lessons that require students to make inferences and grapple with problems. I design my powerpoint interactive lessons to ensure that every student reads, writes, talks, and listens multiple times every day.
