I've taught 3rd, 4th, & 6th grades with most my time spent with 4th graders. I created The Teaching Bank as a way to stay connected to the education field and to continue creating teaching resources after my hearing impairment worsened to a degree that made full-time teaching too difficult. I stay connected with students through volunteer work in my children's classrooms and schools.
A facilitator of learning. Guiding students to become independent learners and thinkers.
It is an honor to have my "Cut to the Core" banner chosen for use here at TpT!
I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University in 1995. I completed the University of Nebraska-Omaha's CADRE Program earning my Master's of Elementary Education in 1996. I have earned Master's Plus classes in Elementary Economics and teaching of the Gifted & Talented.
My goal is to provide quality lessons and units for K-12 that are practical and ready to teach. I have a large number of novel units to accompany popular chapter books for grades 1-8. These units are ready to teach with very little prep needed by the teacher. I also provide everyday grammar practice activities, math activities, and learning center activities.
