15+ teaching in secondary education in New York and Connecticut as English and Reading teacher. 5 years teaching graduate level education courses in literacy. Currently teaching academic electives for middle schoolers including rock and roll history, speech and debate, career exploration, media literacy, and speech and debate.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Reading and writing for real purposes, teaching topics that are relevant to students and at the same time focusing on literacy skills to deepen understanding and comprehension.
