TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have spent 9 wonderful years in the classroom teaching 3rd through 5th grade, but my heart is in 4th grade. It's my favorite!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a hands-on, get up and move, think deeply kind of teacher. I love having my students work collaboratively, but I also value the importance of independent thinking. I'm always up for tackling a new challenge and try to inspire my students to do the same. I believe mistakes are proof of learning (that includes the teacher's mistakes) and always try to infuse fun, laughter, and creativity into every lesson I teach.
