Maureen Wright is an award winning children's author and holds a BS in Theology from Seton Hill University. She presents assemblies on being an author, improving writing skills and sharing the publishing process for elementary students across Northeast Pennsylvania. Sharon Hildebrandt is an elementary teacher with over 30+ years experience in grades 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6. She holds a BS in Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood, and an MS in The Art of Teaching. Katie Wright is a graphic design specialist at Corning Inc. She holds a BS in Graphic Design with a specialty in drawing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She loves visual story-telling and is a free-lance illustrator in her free time. Maureen, Sharon and Katie were drawn together by one common love... a passion for doodling in writing, teaching and drawing.

Maureen Wright was awarded the Nick Jr. 2009 Best Bedtime Book of the year for Sleep, Big Bear, Sleep! This book also took second place for the 2009 Wanda Gág Award and is a Jr. Library Guild book. She has authored nine children's books including the very popular, Sneezy Snowman! Maureen's books are published by Two Lions and Scholastic Reading Club. Sharon Hildebrandt was a 2005 Finalist for the National State Teacher of the Year-Pennsylvania Chapter Award. She has been a Teacher Advisor for Scholastic and has received several educator grant awards including the McDonald's Educator Award. Sharon is currently the founder of Just A Penny Project, a program that builds character in students through service based projects. Katie Wright is a Provost Scholar, graduated Magna Cum Laude, member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and is a Scholastic Art and Writing Award Winner.

Maureen, Sharon and Katie (" The Three Doodlers") were drawn together by family, friendship and faith. Their story spans generations, and inevitably, the three connected when Katie married Maureen's son, Mark. Mark was best friends with Sharon's son, Trey. Sharon invited Maureen to visit her classroom and the rest... is history.
