TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught a variety of subjects over the past 7 years including: Geometry, English I, Reading, Journalism, and Creative Writing.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I really like to incorporate hands on activities that appeal to a variety of learning styles. Any activity that can be used in multiple ways earns bonus points in my book, and activities that students can work on by themselves are a huge plus. I incorporate a lot of bright colors into my activities to make them visually pleasing. I am also working on adding more technology to each of my projects to increase student buy-in.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Gold, Silver & Bronze Technology Awards through my school district.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

BA from Baylor University in Great Texts of the Western Tradition
