TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching elementary school for the past 7 years in a creative arts magnet school! I taught kindergarten for 5 years and second grade for one year. Last year I was a reading specialist and taught groups of students below grade level in reading, for kindergarten, first, second, and third grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is very flexible. It variate a depending on the needs of my students. I love to incorporate hands on activities, arts related activities, and technology in my teaching.

I graduated from Appalachian State University cum laude. I also received many scholarship, and was inducted into the honors society.

I have my bachelors in elementary education from Appalachian State University grades K-6. I received my masters in literacy from Queen's University grades K-12.
