I am currently in my 7th year of teaching high school Social Studies. I have taught American History 1, US History, World History, Civics and Economics, Cultural Studies, and Current Affairs. I incorporate a lot of reading and analyzing documents into my lessons.
I enjoy using a lot of projects and hands-on activities with my students. While I'm no stranger to a lecture, I prefer to do other things with the students. I want my students to be actively engaged in class and interested in what is going on.
