I've taught for over 15 years in a highly rated public high school in NJ! At this point in my career, I have now taught English grades 9-12 at all levels, including: low level with co-teaching, college prep, honors, and AP. I currently teach English Honors I, College Prep English III, and AP Lit and Comp IV. I am also the program coordinator for Peer Leadership - a program for senior students to mentor and guide freshmen. I've run many teacher workshops on Higher Order Thinking and Questioning, Rethinking Homework, Classroom Management, Research and Inquiry, and more.
I believe in an active, student-centered classroom!
