TEACHING EXPERIENCE

For over eleven years, I worked as a corporate language trainer providing ESL classes for children and adults. I have taught all levels of English, including business and survival English. When I taught business English, I specifically helped students craft emails, edit presentations, and learn appropriate business lingo. In my survival English courses, I helped students understand basic grammar, sentence structure, popular word phrases, and American idioms. With children, I worked on writing skills, grammar skills, and homework assignments. In pursuit of helping students grasp the English language better, I self-published "A Practical Guide to Learning American English: Useful Tips for High Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced English Students." I have also scored essays for elementary and middle-school children. Additionally, I taught a special education reading course for middle-school students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style is very warm and conversational. As an actor, I bring a lot of humor and energy to my classes and videos. Learning can and should be fun!
