TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching in Early Childhood Education since the Fall of 2013. My teaching experiences include pre-kindergarten, 1st grade, and Kindergarten, respectively. I LOVE Kindergarten... that is where it feels most like home!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a Kindergarten teacher who believes in making learning fun and exciting. PLAY is a major part of what we should see in Kindergarten. That doesn't mean we can't teach content and set our expectations high. Kindergarteners need a good blend of play and academics... ALL academics can be explored through some type of play. It's also so important to allow our youngest learners to become independent and make choices about their learning.
