For the last 20 years, I have taught in K-12 public education. For 2 years, I was an assistant principal at a Charter School. Additionally, I was a Data Support Specialist for one of the largest counties in Georgia. In addition to teaching at the K-12 level, I am an undergraduate / graduate professor. I teach/have taught in the fields of Early Childhood Education, Psychology, and Forensic Psychology. What do I love to teach the most? It depends... each year brings new challenges and joys. Besides being a professor, I currently teach students with a variety of different abilities - from Learning and Behavior to Autism. I love my kids - AND my adult learners :-)
My teaching style is what ever it takes... I approach teaching like I approach learning, multi-modal!

Fun Fact about Me: In my spare time, I have a cat rescue - I currently have 8 rescues and are caring for a feral colony in my backyard. When I retire, I hope to expand my rescue facility to a full time no-kill rescue facility for cats with exceptional needs or those deemed "unadoptable".
