My name is Adalia Aborisade (formerly Davis). During my 20+ years in education I taught AP Human Geography, AP European History, world regional geography, and early American history. In addition to teaching social studies I also spent several years as an instructional technologist helping teachers integrate technology into their classrooms.
I believe strongly that school should prepare students for the real world. All too often there is a disconnect between schoolwork and the skills students will need to thrive in their future professions. I strive to create learning opportunities which empower students to think, create, solve problems, and collaborate.
