TEACHING EXPERIENCE

MY TEACHING STYLE

Even as an adult, I enjoy activities such as video games and radio control model racing. Many youths sit at school thinking about those same things, instead of focusing on school work. So, I like to use the things kids are interested in as a way to grab their attention. As a youth, I hated math. Math word problems about a train did not interest me. And there were never any pictures. As with many young boys, I learn best with pictures. So, I have tried to use things I know would have grabbed my interest when I was young.
