ThinkCERCA is a creative team of former educators, teachers, and individuals passionate about improving education. At the helm is our fearless leader, Eileen Murphy Buckley. After decades of "CERCA" in the classroom, penning "360 Degrees of Text" (NCTE, 2011), and overseeing curriculum development at the district level, Eileen set out to help all students achieve career and college readiness. ThinkCERCA’s Academic Advisory Board of nationally recognized literacy experts continually collaborates with our team to ensure that we are providing the most valuable and effective literacy resources and tools across disciplines. thinkcerca.com/about/advisory-board/ Our Teacher Advisory Board includes a diverse group of teachers who are regular users of the ThinkCERCA platform. Every month, they meet with members of our design, technology, and implementation teams to provide feedback on current tools as well as new updates to the program, ensuring we thoroughly understand teacher and student needs. thinkcerca.com/about/teacher-advisory-board/
ThinkCERCA’s schoolwide approach to personalized literacy instruction engages students in critical thinking through close reading and argumentative writing. This encourages deeper communication and collaboration across subjects to improve student outcomes. We also believe in collaboration. We have been lucky enough to partner with Follett, Cricket Media, WeTheEconomy, and the UN Foundation to name a few. Our partnerships have allowed us to provide you with additional resources and tools of exceptional quality.
