TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught K-5 Title One Reading, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 4th Grade and been an Instructional Literacy Coach. I am presently a High School Reading Specialist. I am Nationally Board Certified in Literacy and hold a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in empowering students to choose their own learning goals. I establish our instructional setting as a workshop and as a place for students to receive the specific help they need. I am a coach, a mentor and a cheerleader!
