I have been teaching for thirteen years. I've spent most of my time in 3rd grade with a few years in 4th sprinkled somewhere in the middle. After spending some time as an Early Intervention Program teacher, I'm taking on the challenge of RTI Coordinator and Interventionist. Each day brings its own challenges, but the rewards are immeasurable!
There are two rules in our room: 1. Be kind. 2. Work hard. In the words of my friend Rafe, "If I expect my students to follow these rules, I need to be the kindest and hardest working person they know." I strive every day to make sure our room is full of kind, hard-working people. :)
The love notes and pictures that decorate my door are the best awards to ever come across my desk. :)
