TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in a public high school in New Jersey for six years. While I currently teach all academic levels of English 9 and AP Language and Composition, in the past I have also taught 10th and 11th grade English. I am also certified to teach special education, and I work frequently with in-class support teachers.

MY TEACHING STYLE

In my classroom, I emphasize the writing process. I frame writing instruction around mentor texts. I seek to teach reading through collaborative work and station models.
