MY TEACHING STYLE

Studio classes are run with a very relaxed style. Students are given assignments, and due dates and work semi independently. I plan thematic lesson which give student choice to incorporate their own interests. I am very flexible with alternative ideas students come up with. APAH: Lecture Based but interspersed with more interactive activities.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Currently in my 9th year of teaching. I love my job, I love my students. I'm passionate about cooking, design, photography, and fine arts of course! I began teaching APAH last year, piloting the class for the first time ever in my school and am enjoying it immensely! I like taking my kids out of the classroom and out into the world for their art experiences. We're going to Greece this summer which is very exciting! I believe teachers should be less competitive and more cooperative in our practice. Sharing the best of what we do will keep us sharp and inspired in our classrooms. Ot's not an easy job, but it is a worthwhile one.
