After teaching in Japan for four years with a BA in Linguistics, I went home to Alaska and got my MA in Teaching K-8. I taught elementary school for four years, then moved with my family to Vermont, where I currently teach third grade.
I believe all children can learn. I believe in focusing on the Social and Emotional aspects of children's lives and learning. I believe in fostering independence, curiosity, and self-directed learning.
