TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been tutoring students with dyslexia and reading difficulties for 7 years. I taught special education grades k-8 for 4 years, pre-k and kindergarten for 3 years, and ESL for 6 years. I love working one on one with children to improve their literacy skills.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love using multisensory methods, diagnostic teaching, and methods based on the science of reading. My experience has shown that these are the most effective methods to teach struggling readers.
