TEACHING EXPERIENCE

5 years of teaching experience and 3 additional years in education. My focus has been on learning best research practices to teach struggling writers how to be college-ready writers. The assignments are intended to use all English Skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I specialize in teaching struggling writers how to write. I spend quite a bit of time preparing students to use reading strategies and in-depth discussion questions through a version of the UBD unit writing method.
