Tickled Pink in Primary

I taught Kindergarten for 7 years and 2nd grade for 1 year. Ever since I was little, I knew teaching was for me! Kindergarten is my passion and I love to watch the children make progress throughout the year.

I have a silly personality and like to show that side with my students. I do many hands-on activities with my students and split the day between whole group and small group instruction. I think it is important for the students to get small group instruction where they get more individualized work at their level. I also love to incorporate technology into lessons!

I have a Bachelor's degree in elementary education from Indiana University and a Master's degree in early childhood education from Ball State University.

I live in Florida with my husband and dog. I have always loved creating activities for my students and am glad teachers now have a place to share their creative ideas.
