TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in education for 9 years. I spent most of that time teaching first grade, but I have spent a year in third, fourth, and kindergarten as well. At this time, I am not longer in the classroom. I am an Instructional Manager in our building. I perform many of the same duties that an Assistant Principal would. Although I miss the classroom greatly, it is wonderful to see the school as a whole and how all grade levels build upon each other and work together to do what is best for students!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am the loving yet firm type :) My students and I have always had a mutual respect for one another. I set clearly defined boundaries from day 1. When students know and understand your classroom management plan (and know you will stick to it) your year will go smoothly!
