I have been teaching since 2008. The first three years I taught in a small, rural private school, but after a break from teaching, I made a big change by taking a job in an urban charter school in Dallas in 2013. After a short venture into a suburban public school district for one year, I returned to the urban setting and a public school in 2016. I have taught English II since 2013 in all three schools, and I love to joke that my hashtag is #sophomores4ever!
I believe that strategies are key to good teaching and good classroom management. My classroom and lesson plans are very structured, interactive, and organized so that every student can attain success!
