TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught English Language Arts for 10 years: Sophomore-Senior English, as well as AP Language and Composition. I will post materials for these levels that can also be adapted for 9th grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My first principal told me, "The person doing the most talking in the classroom is the person doing the most learning." This is at the center of my teaching style. I prefer a classroom environment where the students are reading, discussing, creating, presenting, and writing, and I serve as a facilitator in that process! My materials are centered around that philosophy.
