TEACHING EXPERIENCE

With a background in speech language pathology, I spent 12 years as an SLP in the medical setting. During much of that time I was able to meet and learn from children and families with autism. Now serving as the autism consultant in a school system, I am able to use my background in autism and Speech Language Pathology to consult with teachers, parents and students on the autism spectrum. I am able to provide visuals, supports, assistance and encouragement throughout the school day! I am also able to collaborate with teachers and fellow speech therapists not only about autism but on issues and concerns related to articulation and language disorders.
