• 2013 – Recipient of Teachers for a Global Classroom grant from the U.S. Department of State that culminated with a trip to Brazil to enhance globalized pedagogy and international education initiatives • 2015 – Accepted into the 4.0 Essentials Program which provides coaching for education entrepreneurs • 2015 – Fellow in Teach for America DFW’s Inaugural Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Fellowship • 2016 – 2nd Round Finalist for the Teach for America National Social Innovation Award • 2017 – Accepted into the Global Education Allies program to study best practices and innovation of the highly-regarded Finnish school system in summer 2017 • 2017 – Selected as speaker for Department of State’s first Global Education Leader Conference in D.C. • 2018 – Panelist at Fulbright Teachers conference
