By Tiny Toes I teach the sweetest tiny toes in Pre-K now after nine years in 2nd Grade. I am honored to be a child's very first teacher (that is, after their parents). I know the feeling of letting go the hand that clung so tightly to your own. My thirteen years of teaching actually goes much further as I homeschooled my 4 children for 5 years.
My teaching style is very global. I am very relaxed and nurturing. I use a LOT of technology in my class, including a Smartboard, iPad, and iPods. However, I maintain a balance to include many hands on activities, especially at this critical, young learner stage.

I graduated high school in Beaumont, Texas in 1984. I went on to get my bachelors at Lamar University, graduating in 1988. I went back to college and got my Teacher's Certification in 1994.
I have been married for 31 years to a wonderful (obviously) man! Sadly, he passed away from ALS in December 2017. I am heartbroken. We have four children. Three have graduated college, and the "baby" has just begun her college career. I am a breast cancer survivor who loves to bring hope to those battling this horrible disease.
