I have been teaching for 17 years now. Although I am considered to be a veteran, I am still struggling with feeling "good enough" and admitting I cannot nor will not ever be a perfect teacher (hence my new logo). But I am currently on a journey to be okay with that. I am working on no longer striving for perfection, but being confident with who I am as a person and a teacher.
Truth be told, I lost myself over the years. I used to teach lessons that I had fun teaching and my students (well most of them) were completely engaged. And then, it hit. My exhaustion, tiredness and need to just crack open the textbook and shovel out the information. I am ready to find myself again, my creativity, my fun. So, I'm revamping my TPT page and I'm opening myself up to you. I hope to find my passion and community again. I want to get back to creating! Thanks for being here with me!
My biggest award so far is surviving 17 years of teaching with only one major burnout (I mean break from teaching lol).
