I have been teaching for 25 years in the areas of World History, specifically related to Holocaust Education, and psychology. I have traveled to Europe (Germany, Austria, Poland, Lichtenstein, etc.) to study the Holocaust.
My teaching style varies as much as I do. I firmly believe students learn best when they feel connected to the passion shown by the teacher. Passion is pervasive and easily passed to students. If you love what you teach and it shows, learning begins from day one.
I was named the first ever Florida Holocaust Teacher of the Year in 2009, St. Lucie County Teacher of the Year from Southern Oaks Middle in 2017, Florida Council for the Social Studies Teacher Nominee for Teacher of the Year in 2002.
I graduated from Union High School in New Jersey. I attended Seton Hall University, a private Catholic University in NJ, where I earned my degrees in Psychology and Education.
