There seems to be interest in experiments that don't cost a lot of money for the equipment, and are easy to do. So I picked three from my list. Each uses items you likely have in your home, or can easily find on the cheap. This is a description

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

20+ years in the classroom teaching physics and math, private tutoring as well, author of blog about teaching physics (tomteachesphysics.com)

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to let students work together to find solutions. I guide them in the learning process and hope that they will join me in the journey, making it less about what they know and more about what they know how to do. My goal is to build their confidence in their own abilities to do physics. I'm continually looking for a way to make physics not evil hard, but something everyone can do and already do easily.
