I have taught in California public schools for 8 years. I've been blessed enough to teach second, fourth, fifth, and sixth graders in self-contained classrooms. I've taught 7th grade History in the past and now teach 7th grade English.
I enjoy interactive classrooms where students explore and "dig" through their texts to discover new worlds and information. I use lots of short video clips to add to the visual piece and even music to get students excited about learning.

I received my bachelors degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Kinesiology and obtained my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I hold a multiple subject credential as well as an English and History subjest matter authorization.
I always wanted to be a teacher and my low senority in California public schools has created a situation where I've moved grades often, but have had the wonderful opportunity to experience so many different levels of instruction.
