My name is Tracie Kroenert! I am a mother of 3 beautiful daughters and a career educator that is a life-long learner, growth minded, 21st century, student driven, digital leader. I went into the field of education for a very simple (albeit perhaps somewhat cliché) reason - I want to make a positive difference in the lives of others. While there are many fields in which I could accomplish this goal, I feel that education is the one in which I can have the greatest impact. Every day, children and people around the world are being told that they aren't good enough, or that they just "can't". As a educator, I feel I have a positive platform from which to dispel that fallacy. As a career educator of 20 years, I am a positive and energetic individual who is passionate about student success and who is dedicated to providing the best education to children and the best school climate to all stakeholders. I have good people and organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines and work well under many demands. I am an accomplished, experienced, dedicated educational professional with a diversified background at all school levels including an alternative high school setting. Certified in two states, offering years of achievement in developing productive student-focused and data-driven environments, maximize learning experiences, being a team player and promoting positive school culture for all school stakeholders that include shared visions and continuous improvements for teachers and students. I believe all students are capable of learning and that effective teachers can reach every student. Students should not be thought of as mindless individuals just waiting to be filled with knowledge by their teachers. Quite the opposite; students should be viewed as individuals who can contribute to the classroom, sharing and gaining knowledge from each other. Teachers should guide students not lecture them. An education is not solely academic; the teacher must also educate her students mentally by teaching them the skills needed to solve problems and socially by teaching them the skills needed to communicate and work productively with others. Students must be able to function in the real world which not only requires academic knowledge but social skills as well. I believe teachers should not be alone in educating students but that parents, families and communities need to work together to support and enrich the lives of their children, who are the future.


Led 3 public school campuses to the following state assessment improvements: 3-year consecutive improved performance in Science by 10% each year; campus rate beat STAAR phase-in state average by 2%; improved state math scores by 5%. Served on Building Leadership Team, Principal’s Advisory Committee, District Curriculum Writing Team, District School Health Advisory Committee, Campus Improvement, Curriculum and District Leadership Committees meeting goals of creating academic interventions using benchmarks and improving scores for 3 years. Brought a Charter School into compliance with Special Education requirements after being out of compliance for 5 years and developed legally defensible campus policies and procedures for the same campus. Broken Arrow Teacher of the Year and Grant Writer & Recipient.
