I am the parent of two gifted children. I have chosen to supplement their public education through travel, home studies, projects, computer programs and interest levels. I am a career change adult from computer programming to Elementary Education. I love to learn and I love to share fun and new things with students of all abilities.
When I teach, I utilize auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning for all lessons. I monitor student body language, facial expressions and thumbs up/down to determine understanding. If the conventional method doesn't reach students I will teach the common sense down and dirty methods.
