TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a middle/high school teacher since 2011. I have taught a variety of courses including Health/Wellness, Computer Technology, Personal Finance, PE, and Psychology. However, my current teaching position is mainly middle school MYP Computer Technology & Design

MY TEACHING STYLE

I feel that I would be cognitivist and constructivist. However, if I absolutely had to pick, I would categorize my philosophy of learning as the constructivist perspective. I definitely learn the most by participating in meaningful activities, and I feel that I have carried that down to my teaching style as well. I have realized just how important it is for students to engage in meaningful experiences as a main method of learning.
