TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Student taught in 1st and 4th grade for a year while earning my Masters Degree from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. Taught first grade for three years Taught second grade for one year before returning to my beloved first grade!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student-centered Learning. I incorporate Cooperative Learning strategies that I learned from Kagan. We have whole group Word Work and Shared Literature, small group Guided Reading. Whole group inclusion math.
