ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

As a librarian/media specialist for more than a decade, I've grown professionally along with the Web. My current interests are critical information evaluation and social media. With regards to Social Media, I'm dissatisfied with how schools teach about it. I rarely see more than discussions about cyber-bullying and other negative online behaviors. I believe students need much more guidance to establish a positive and intelligent online profile. My products here are designed to facilitate teacher-student dialog towards creating better online behaviors, which ultimately are about the students self-esteem and future focus.
