I have 20 years experience teaching Spanish, Economics, Environmental Science, and interdisciplinary projects in Georgia. I've written about teaching at Education Week, Washington Post, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Whenever possible I want my students to have choice and voice in what they learn, where they learn, how they learn, and how quickly they learn. When they *have to* study something mandated by my district or state, I want them to know *why* they're learning it and how it will help them when they're my age.
Yet to be added
I studied Spanish at Furman, and public administration and education leadership at Harvard.
My wife and I have 4 kids—ages 12, 10, 6, and 4—and we're starting a school for them!
