Noah and Janet have a combined 37 years of teaching experience at both comprehensive and early college high schools.
Noah has taught Algebra 1 and 2, geometry, a seminar class for college-level math, government, economics, leadership, and AVID.
Janet has taught all levels of high school English, a seminar class for college-level English, creative writing, journalism, AP English, and AVID.
We prefer the role of teacher-coaches—creating activities that are student-centered. We like group settings where students use their unique talents and perspectives to interact with the material.
Janet graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor's Degree in English and French. She earned her Teaching Credential and Masters from Cal State Sacramento.
Noah graduated from UC Berkeley, where he studied Computer Science and Anthropology. He earned his Mathematics and Social Science Teaching Credentials from San Francisco State University.
